Trucano To Be Installed as Pastor of The Gordon Church of God Rev. Al and Jean Tracano The Gordon Church of God will install Rev. Al Trucano as their new pastor Sunday Morning January 13, at 10:45 a.m. The public is cordially invited to join the congregation as they celebrate the installation of their new pastor. Rev. Don Mink from Alliance will be the guest speaker for the service. Rev. Trucano is a familiar face to this area. For 35 years, he has led United Methodist Churches across the state of Nebraska and Kentucky. Al pastored the Rushville United Methodist church for a number of years and has most recently served as interim pastor for various churches in the immediate area. Pastor Trucano is married to the former Jean Forster of Gordon. Al and Jean were married in the Church of God 19 years ago. The Trucano's have family living in the Kearney, NE. and Rapid City, SD areas. Al comments, "We are delighted to be living and serving in the Gordon area. It is such a joy to be able to work with such a wonderful and loving group of believers." He continues," Jean and I were settled in Rushville and had planned for retirement, but the Lord had different plans for us and we are delighted with our new opportunities." It is interesting to note that Al's Father's first pastorate was with a Church of God congregation in Iowa.
