Deborah Hollow Horn Found Guilty in Funeral Home Theft

Rushville, NE - Deborah R. Hollow Horn was sentenced to 90 days in jail for the theft of a wedding ring at the Chamberlin-Pier Chapel.

On Wednesday, November 7, Ms. Hollow Horn entered the Chamberlin-Pier Funeral Home on south Main Street in Gordon and proceeded to remove a wedding ring from the finger of Richard Holt, deceased.

The theft took place during the public visitation hours. The theft was not discovered until the next day, at which time authorities were called and the ring was traced to the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store in Rushville.

Ms. Hollow Horn has also been charged with false reporting which carries an additional 30 day jail sentence. Ms. Hollow Horn's accomplice is under investigation and charges are pending.
